Exterior and Design

Honda has recently revealed the sketch of the ZR-V. This hints at the planning parts of the new SUV. It shows that the new Honda SUV will have the latest style and aesthetics. The official teaser shows an image of the framework of the vehicle. There will be an outsized grille with a frame that extends to the headlights. It also offers a slim, elongated LED lightweight signature and tail light. It also included a dotted line RS badging, hinting at a new engine model.

The new mini SUV is going to get a similar platform because of the fifth-generation Honda City. This helps in saving producing prices. The planning seems to be identical to the mini version of the BR-V. There is a black grille and vertical fog housing. This mini Honda ZR-V SUV will be available in white. The roof, wing mirrors, and roof rails are painted in black.

At the side, there is a thick plastic protective cover on the wheel arches and the doors. This gives the ZR-V a unique SUV look. It also has new 5-spoke alloy wheels. The B-pillar is finished in black. The ZR-V has slim lines that make the style appear minimalistic. BR-V has a ground height of 220 millimeters, and it rides on 17-inch alloy wheels.

  • A 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto,
  • Push-button to start or stop,

Engine

The international market ZR-V will have a 1.0-liter turbo gas engine alongside the 1.5-liter gas engine. The Honda compact Hybrid systems also are expected to be seen on the new 2021 ZR-V. Giving it a machine from the Honda Amaze can keep the costs under control and supply.

The new Honda ZR-V to keep the prices low could go together with Amaze’s diesel and petrol engine.

  • The 1498cc diesel engine on the Amaze produces seventy 8.9bhp and 160 Nm.
  • The 1.3-liter petrol engine on the Amaze has 88bhp and 110Nm.

The Honda ZR-V will have the Amaze Platform. For India, it is expected to be a successor of the WR-V. The Honda WR-V is present with a BS6 engine. With the introduction of the ZR-V, the identical engine will continue on this vehicle. The WR-V is not an excellent competition to this generation of compact SUVs sold-out in the Indian automotive market. The ZR-V can make Honda a good competitor in this section.

Expectations

The new Honda ZR-V could borrow a lot of features from the Amaze. Like the Honda Amaze, the ZR-V will provide a comfortable and smooth ride, even on bumpy Indian roads. Advanced safety options like twin airbags, ABS+EBD, ISOFIX, and ELR seat belts are also expected. Each manual and automatic drive will be a gift. Just like the Honda Amaze, the ZR-V may additionally feature comfortable seats, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay option diesel-CVT, and more boot space.
