In August 2021, Mahindra already declared the price for the AX series in five-seater choices and MX in India. Currently, the MX provides both petrol and diesel variant choices with a manual transmission. On the other hand, the automatic version and the seven-seat version are going to be revealed later. Recently, the internet has been flooded with the leaked accessories and goods lists before the launch of the XUV700. At the time of launch, the XUV700 will supply a Chrome Kit. The accessories include-

A 2.0-liter Turbo GDi mStallion engine powers the petrol version of the XUV700. It generates 195bhp at 5,000rpm and 380 Nm of torque between 1,750rpm and 3,000rpm. Currently, this engine is powered by a six-speed manual transmission. The diesel version gets a 2.2-liter Turbo diesel mHawk engine with manual transmission to get 151bhp and 360 Nm of Torque.

The new XUV700 is constructed on the company’s new world SUV platform – W601. It consists of an updated luxurious framework. The new SUV measures 1755 mm tall, 4695 mm long, and 1890 mm in breadth in terms of dimensions. Compared with the XUV500, the XUV700 is 110mm longer but 30 millimeters shorter, whereas the breadth remains unchanged.
The SUV has a new black grille that includes long vertical chrome slats and Mahindra’s new logo at the center. The front bumper offers a large air intake, a protective covering, and horizontal fog lamps. The SUV also includes glowing wheel arches that make it look more attrective. Also, a tailgate and a bumper protective covering with silver pretend skid plates are provided.
Interior and Features
The XUV700 has a well-laid-out cabin which is offered in each 5- and 7-seater choice. MX Series models of the XUV700 include steering mounted switches, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Day & Night IRVM, and a 7-inch instrument group. It also has 17-inch steel wheels.
In terms of features, the Mahindra XUV700 gets new LED headlamps with two big C-shaped LED daytime running lights. The sides have new door handles, 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and electrically operable ORVMs with flip signals. At the rear, the SUV has trendy LED taillamps.
The AX series models have HD dual-display units with two 10.25-inch screens- one for infotainment and the other for instrumentation. It also has Apple CarPlay, advanced Amazon Alexa, AdrenoX Connect with 60+ Connected options, and Wireless Machine.
Depending on the variant, different features included dual-zone climate management, six speakers and sound staging, fabric cushioning, a wireless charger, a wide sunshine roof, and a driver sleepiness alert system. The XUV700 will have a Dynamic Stability Programme (DSP), 360-degree view camera, Driver Help System, seven airbags, ISOFIX seat mounts, etc. Mahindra provides multiple driving modes with three preset choices – Zip, Zap, and Zoom, with a Custom setting.
Engine and Specifications
The Mahindra XUV700 petrol version gets a 2.0-liter mStallion turbocharged petrol engine. It provides 197 bhp at 5000 revs. It gives out a peak force of 380 Nm at 1750 to 3000 rev. The machine comes with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic converter unit.
On the other hand, the diesel choice gets a 2.2-liter mHawk burner offered in 3 states-
The first choice is tuned to give out 153 bhp at 3750 revs and a peak force of 360 Nm at 1500 to 2800 rev. It includes a 6-speed manual shell, as is customary.
The second choice includes a lot of powerful burners that give out 182 bhp at 3500 revs. This version is obtainable with the option of a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic force.
The third choice gives a peak force of 420 Nm at 1600 to 2800 rev, the automated option. It also comes with All-Wheel Drive (AWD), develops 450 Nm at 1750 to 2800 rev.
The all-new Mahindra XUV700 AX Series is planned to be launched during Diwali, 2021.
